FRUSTRATION!!!!....

I WAS DETERMINED TO UP-DATE THIS BLOG AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK...

if only to maintain the discipline and record of this project.....

Well..now 11 days since last blog--August 14.....

I still have 7 more catagories of stuff to get-out-the-house IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE CHALLENGE GOAL OF 50....and..."FIND MY LIFE"

Well...the 11 days WERE productive in completing quilts; adding to "inventory" for the first time selling of quilts at a Christmas Crafts Fair.

And....I KNOW I was NOT idle....however-- no sure accounting of how I did use my time productively..if that were even a tiny bit interesting.

So..no promises....I"ll aim for the best.

Recording......and Celebrating....

Continuing with the Gail Blanke (May, 2010 AARP Bulletin and book:Throw Out 50 things: Clear Clutter, Find Your Life) as reported on August 10...Civil Grand Jury stationary and forms..returned.in my office for at least 4 years....now out-of house/life.

Thus I am now at catagories of stuff OUT #43...only 7 more to go go achieve the target 50 of the challenge.

Will I find my life?????? well.. I did'nt know it was "lost"...AND maybe..just maybe.. some mystery miracle WILL happen.

THEN: CELEBRATING!!!!

I am working- working- working to create "inventory" for first time for me Christmas Craft Fairs..new adventure..selling quilts.

Goal: 7 catagories of STUFF out of house in next 2 weeks.

WOW!!!! finally...I did manage to get-rid-of..extraneous stuff today...

I had been making an accounting of a challenge to get-rid-of 50 catagories of stuff...

and "find-my-life"..I think I was somewhere in mid 40's......

so getting there......I will check to be sure...

Items..out-of-house: Formal stationary..and forms for the County Grand Jury....California has by Consitution a CIVIL Grand Jury system...each Jury impanneled for one year...

I served three years: 2001-02..2002-03 and 2005-06....which means this 'stuff' was on my office shelf for at least 4 years...

Good!!! Goood!!! Progress!!!!!

Unbbelievable!! almost TWO weeks since last blog....

I had hoped to do better than that...

however..two things: LIFE HAPPENS...and the focus of my attention has been on quilting...

I do have thoughts on how to possibly get-rid-of maybe 1000 perfectly good drink straws....

and I will make phone calls when I get home..to see if that is possible.

...and also hope that somehow..Project Distribute--2026 CAN progress..inich-by-inch if necessary..while the Quilt/Stash Project-2020 takes presidence..for next 3 months..
